How come nobody told me about Oberon Design’s Kindle covers?
I think this will be my new Kindle cover, since it’ll match the Moleskine notebook I carry around in my bag. Ruined the last one with acetone nail polish remover. Don’t do your nails near digital devices, kids!

It’s all too easy and cheap to mock Mac users, but I suspect Bookbook of doing the same thing. From the website:

The Canvas Bella Library Cover by Kate Spade for the Barnes & Noble Nook.
Of all the e-readers out there, the Nook has the chicest accessories so far, all of which can be found here. I expect a Louis Vuitton monogram canvas e-reader cover soon, followed by Hermes. I’ll be holding out for Goyard, Smythson and Bill Amberg, which I should be able to afford after selling several pints of blood.
I’d also like to see e-reader sized, water-resistant pockets sewn into bags. I had a near miss when I carried a loosely-capped bottle of polish remover and a Kindle in my trusty Muji canvas bag. The Kindle survived the splashing, but its black faux leather cover will forever bear the scars of my folly. I’m not in the habit of carrying flammable liquids in my bag for the most part, but I almost always have a bottle of water in there with my purse and cellphone.
