$Having a puppy makes it so much harder to go on a vacation, even though Moxie will be the only guest at the canine equivalent of the Four Seasons hotel with more privileges than she gets at home. But every luxury is fraught with danger to me—the yard means poisonous plants and bad-tempered insects with stingers; the deck is a fracture or spinal injury waiting to happen; sleeping in her pupsitters’ bed means she’ll NEVER be happy with us ever again!$
